MODERN S.AMANZHOLOV EAST KAZAKHSTAN STATE UNIVERSITY
Nowadays S.Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University is the leader of scientific-humanitarian education in the Eastern region of the country.
Over 12 thousands students of 20 nationalities are taught in the university. 300 students are citizens of near and far abroad.
At the present day, academic activity is divided on 8 faculties and 33 departments in the university. There is a credit system of education in EKSU. The university has 46 specialties for graduate programme and 20 specialties for post-graduate programme. Over 1300 professor-teachers and their assistance are at the staff of the university, among them there are 52 PhD doctors. The University has its own 8 educational buildings, 4 hostels, internet-coffee, the centre of High Innovative-Educational Technologies, museum, libraries, etc.
The university cooperates with universities from other countries. This partnership gives the opportunity for students to get diploma that is recognized in Kazakhstan and Tomsk State University (Russia), Mongolia National University (Ulan- Bator), Wroclaw University (Poland), Kannam University (South Korea). There is a one National Scientific Laboratory of five in Kazakhstan for multiple-access in the university. The main goals of the laboratory is “Nuclear Technology and Energy Renewable Technology”.
EKSU signed Universities Great Charter and support Bologna process as 600 universities in a world.
