Three graduate students of EKSU defended dissertations in two universities - EKSU and AltSU (Russia) June 7 in the framework of the double-diploma education in EKSU them. S.Amanzholov defended master thesis three undergraduates.

The dissertations were defended by M.M. Zhanahmetova, S.Zh.Sarsekeeva and E.A.Kaiyrbekov, studying under the joint educational program “Mathematical Modeling and Information Technologies in Ecology and Nature Management” at S.Amanzholov EKSU and Altai State University (AltSU, Barnaul, RF).

In defense, they took part along with members of the state attestation commission of the S.Amanzholov EKSU leading scientists of AltSU: Lyubov Anatolyevna Khvorova - Ph.D., Head of the Department of Theoretical Cybernetics and Applied Mathematics, and Nikolai Mikhailovich Oskorbin - Ph.D., Professor of the Theoretical Cybernetics and Applied Mathematics Department.

Themes of master's theses are “Mathematical models of temperature regime at the atmosphere – soil interface”, “Mathematical models of atmospheric pollution from linear sources”, “Mathematical models of atmospheric pollution from stationary sources”.

Scientific supervisors of undergraduates - Ph.D., Associate Professor M.N.Madiyarov, Ph.D., Associate Professor L.A. Khvorova, F.S. Amenova - Dr. Phd, N.М.Oskorbin - D.T. .n., professor.

The defense was successful, as the level of training of undergraduates was at a fairly high level. All undergraduates received a rating of "excellent."

According to the unanimous opinion of the members of the state attestation commission, the first experience in a dual education justified itself, and in the future international cooperation wishes to be continued.
