CMY of faculties
COMMITTEE FOR MATTERS CONCERNING YOUTH OF FACULTIES
The Committee for Matters Concerning Youth of Faculties is structural division of the university CMY in the sphere of realization of the Public Youth Policy. CMY of faculties bears responsibility before presidium for the condition of management, efficiency of activity and youth structures of faculties.
CMY is engaged in creating appropriate conditions for the comprehensive development of University students, increasing their spiritual, moral, intellectual potential, social status, forming students 'patriotism, democratic culture and civic consciousness, consolidating active youth around the idea of Independent Kazakhstan, directing students' energy in a constructive direction.
By implementing various projects, CMY aims to integrate students into social activities, develop a sense of patriotism and social responsibility, and promote a healthy lifestyle.
The main functions of CMY are:
- CMY participates in various actions together with other youth organizations, such as a cell of a youth wing "Zhas Otan" within Nur Otan party, NPO League of Erudite Youth and others.
- CMY conducts meetings for consideration of all questions concerning youth of the University listens to reports and reports of youth structures;
- Organize work on patriotic education and promotion of the state symbols of RK among student's youth.
Some events became traditional such as "Talents of the first-year students", "Student's spring", "Ms. and Mr. of EKSU", the creative competition "Life without Tobacco, Life without Drugs", the student's intellectual game "ERUDITE", events devoted to public holidays of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a meeting with eminent persons (of politics, science, culture and sport), and also various sport competitions became traditional as well.
