Department of academic policy and management of educational programs is the structural subsection of the university including the following departments:
– organization and controlling of the academic process;
– methodical work, practices and employment;
– registration;
– student’s records management;
– postgraduate education.
Purpose of the department
The organization and management of an educational activity on realization of educational programs according to the state license for the right of conducting educational activities in the sphere of professional education; development of strategy of educational and methodical activities and forming of the priority directions of its development.

Main task:
- Organization and management of the educational process of the University.
- Continuous improvement of the learning process in order to improve the quality of educational services, ensure the preparation of competitive personnel in accordance with the needs of the regional labor market.
- Development of educational programs of the University in all types of training.
- Ensuring full transparency of the educational process, the entire cumulative system of knowledge control.
Main directions of activity of structural branch:
- Organizational, analytical and informational support of educational activities of S. Amanzholov EKSU for bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs.
- Organizational and methodological work on the design of documentation for the organization of the educational process. Organization of the educational process in accordance with the requirements of the state standard of higher and postgraduate professional education.
- Monitoring the implementation of curricula in areas that meet the requirements of the state educational standard of higher professional education.
- Development of the schedule of the educational process in the specialties of higher and postgraduate education, monitoring its implementation.
- Planning and drawing up the schedule of training sessions, examination sessions, work schedules of State certification commissions; monitoring the implementation of the schedule of training sessions.
- Accounting for the movement of the student body (transfer, expulsion, restoration, granting of academic leave, etc.).
- Control of the work of State certification and examination commissions. Analysis of results and preparation of proposals based on the results of the work of the SAC and HEC.
- Registration and issuance of diplomas of education, academic certificates, duplicate diplomas in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
