Director - Balapanov Yermek Zeinelgabidenovich
Economic Department was established by order of the rector of the University dated August 25, 2010. The Department is a structural subdivision of the regional state enterprise with the right of business «Sarsen Amanzholov East-Kazakhstan State University».
Main activities:
- Provide technical readiness of university facilities for conducting educational process.
- Provide classrooms, laboratories, offices, commercial, cultural and residential subdivisions with necessary equipment, and furniture, which meet the requirements of labor protection rules and regulations.
- Ensure order and good sanitary-hygienic condition of academic buildings, dormitories, canteens, educational and sports facilities, garages, warehouses, etc.
- Organize work on maintenance of university buildings and surrounding areas.
- Organize safe functioning of the car park.
- Organize current and overhaul repair of buildings and structures preparing design and estimate documents in accordance with SNIP.
- Control the state of engineering networks of educational buildings and dormitories of the University and their proper operation.
- Monitor the compliance with rules and regulations on occupational health and safety, create and mainten healthy and safe working conditions.
On the university balance, there are 8 educational and laboratory buildings. The total area of EKSU buildings is 41, 974 sq. m., including educational and laboratory area of 23, 999 sq.m.
For non-residential students, university has 4 dormitories for 1750 people with a total area of 16, 915 sq.m., including living area of 9, 530 sq.m. 100% of dormitories have residents.
To maintain and promote healthy lifestyle, there is a scientific and educational-industrial complex "Sibiny", consisting of 16 houses.
University students have summer internship at G.Vistenius-D.Pankratev TSUPP.
