Execution of visa

For the foreign citizen who arrived to RK as it should be which is not demanding receipt of a visa, the term of temporary stay cannot exceed 90 days. In case the foreign citizen signs the contract for studying, the term of its temporary stay lasts for the period of validity of the signed contract, but no more than for 1 year. After 1 year such category of foreign citizens is obliged to leave RK, and then to drive with the new migration card.
The term of execution of the visa in migratory service is 10 working days.
For registration, extension of validity period or a reproduction of visa the foreign student is obliged in 25 days prior to expiration of the available visa to provide the following documents to the department of international cooperation:

  • The valid international passport has to have not less than two blank pages intended for visas, the term of its action should not expire earlier, than in 6 months from expiry date of the visa;
  • Migration card and its copy;
  • Receipt about payment of the state fee;
  • 4 photos of 3x4 cm in size (black-and-white or color on matte photographic paper);
  • The certificate of a nationality "Kazakh" for representatives of the Kazakh diaspora (making out the educational visa in the Republic of Kazakhstan for the first time).
