All foreign citizens who arrived to studying to the East Kazakhstan State University have to be registered in the department of migration police WITHIN 5 DAYS after arrival!
Для оформления документов для получения временного пребывания, проживания, а также въездной и выездной визы вам необходимо явится в отдел международного сотрудничества (по адресу: ул. Казахстан, 55 к. 401).
- For receiving temporary stay, accommodation, and also the entrance and exit visa it is necessary to come to the department of international cooperation (our address: Kazakhstan str., 55 office# 401)..
- The foreign student of EKSU, at the beginning of academic year on arrival for study, within 5 days has to provide medical certificate from the AIDS Center and X-ray for OMP
It is necessary to apply to the City hospital #1 for medical references.

For registration in OMP it is necessary to provide the following documents:
- Passport (original);
- Migration card (original) – migration card is given when you are crossing the border. It is very important documents please do not loose or throw it.
- Medical certificate from the AIDS Center (in the beginning of the academic year);
- X-ray (in the beginning of the academic year);
- Photo 3*4 – 2 items (in the beginning of the academic year);
- Agreement of accommodation (if foreign students do not live in the university dormitory).
After arrival from the summer vacation to the country, within 3 days, foreign student has to have medical examination in the city hospital No. 1 and show the certificate of X-ray and the certificate from the AIDS Center to the inspector of the Department of International cooperation. Otherwise, the department of migration police will not register the student.
If the foreign student leaves the territory of RK during academic year, re-registration in migration police is necessary, for this purpose it is necessary to hand over the passport in Department of international cooperation.
The foreign citizens who received the residence permit in the Republic of Kazakhstan need to come to the inspector for registration. You should bring 2 photocopies of ID card; 2 photocopies of the passport; photocopy of the house register of the constant place of residence; 2 photos 3*4.
