The head of the department of the history of socio-economic development of Kazakhstan at the Institute of History of the State National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Nur-Sultan), doctor of historical sciences, professor Alima Auanasova conducted research work at the Rare Book Fund of the Scientific Library of the EKSU named after S. Amanzholova.

According to the scientist, in the archive of rare books of the scientific library of the EKSU named after S. Amanzholova she worked on the book "History of the Semipalatinsk region of the 19th-beginning of the 20th century", as well as on materials related to the history of Turkestan of the 19th-beginning of the 20th century

Alima Auanasova thanked the library staff of the EKSU, including Gulnaz Shaiken, for their help in finding the right literature.
