Seminar for teachers conducting disciplines in English aroused great interest among teachers of EKSU

In EKSU them. S. Amanzholov November 20 held a seminar for teachers on the topic: "Learning strategies that support CLIL."

The purpose of the seminar is to deepen the professional knowledge and competencies of teachers using the CLIL methodology “Content and Language Integrated Learning”. The seminar was conducted by the methodologist of the center of multilingual education "Til Alemi", a certified trainer according to the CLIL methodology A.S. Saylybaeva.

The workshop aroused great interest, the participants noted the content and practical significance of the proposed materials.

During the seminar, the main substantive elements of this approach in teaching a foreign language were discussed: planning, evaluation, strategies for active learning, differentiation and development of higher mental skills.
