- For us, Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin is the personification of love and beauty. It is gratifying that the regional library bears the name of the great poet. Today, it is the foundation of knowledge, about 380 thousand books are concentrated here. The library fund is constantly updated. Last year, a unique book series “Abai Alemi” was published, which included the best works of the great Abay, Shakarim, Auezov, Dostoevsky, Ivanov, and writers of the East Kazakhstan region. This year we plan to expand the circle of authors and add prose and poems of the classics, - said the deputy mayor of East Kazakhstan region Asem Nusupova.
- Students and schoolchildren, having looked at an interactive literary exposition about little-known facts from the life of the poet, could understand the complex vicissitudes of his life. The guys listened to the poet’s poems, they themselves recited by heart his works, - told in the Information Center of the East Kazakhstan region.
- I believe that such a celebration format fits perfectly. Alexander Pushkin was an open and dynamic person. Therefore, every year there should be a day when every passer-by can stop, hear familiar lines, go up to the microphone and tell a favorite poem. In our today's realities, the moral reference point set by two great poets - Abai and Pushkin - helps us keep the code of our history, ”shared the professor of the S.Amanzholov, EKSU Pushkinist L.I.Abdullina. - We not only celebrate the anniversary of the world classics, but also create our own history and culture.
As part of the festive date, an exhibition of classic works was organized.
