Students of the specialty "journalism" EKSU S. Amanzholova took part in the VI International Winter School of Journalism and Communications in Almaty under the program Radio Tolerance, Dialogue and Peace, dedicated to World Radio Day.
Faculty of Journalism KazNU Al-Farabi with the support of the UNESCO Cluster Bureau of Almaty, held the VI International Winter School of Journalism and Communication "Radio - Tolerance, Dialogue and Peace", dedicated to World Radio Day. Organizer - Humanitarian Research Center "Mediasphere" KazNU Al-Farabi.
According to the organizers, the goal of the school’s activities was to gain knowledge and practical skills in using digital technologies, to study methods and ways of using new technologies to highlight and promote the UN sustainable development goals, to introduce new skills and competences in Internet and digital literacy issues, to expand in the field of radio journalism.
Within the framework of the school program, seminars, trainings, master classes, round tables were held, and the “Hour of Poetry” classes were completed.
The Winter School was attended by journalists, scientists, teachers and students from Kazakhstan, Russia, New Zealand, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan.
Information support was provided by RTRK Kazakhstan JSC, Skills Academy LLP, Bugin.kz platform of independent authors, Massaget.kz youth portal, Planet Radio of Altai State University, al-Farabi TV and Radio Complex.
The winter school was held in a picturesque place in the vicinity of Almaty - the educational and recreational complex "Tau-Turan". At the end of the school, all participants received certificates.
