In the future, 10 areas of educational and methodological work have been identified at the S. Amanzholov EKSU.

Among the directions-the development of documents for obtaining licenses for new areas in which the University has not previously provided training (8D01101 - "Pedagogy and psychology", 8D01301 – "Pedagogy and methods of primary education", 8D05101 – "Biology", 8D04201 - "Law").

In EKSU training is carried out on 110 educational programs

In the current academic year, specialists were trained at S. Amanzholov EKSU in 110 educational programs: bachelor's degree – 59, master's degree-39, doctorate-12, which is 15 more Educational Programs than in the previous academic year.

This academic year, 15 educational programs are new (bachelor's – 5, master's – 6, doctoral – 4), including two integrated bachelor's programs ("Mathematics – computer Science", "Biology - natural Science"), as well as two innovative ones ("Clinical psychology", "Chemical forensic examination").

The Senate elected judge of the East Kazakhstan regional court Rahmetullina Nazgul Maulkhanovna a Supreme Court justice.

N. M. Rakhmetullina, after graduating from the East Kazakhstan state University in 2000, worked in 2000-2004 as a specialist of the East Kazakhstan regional court, in 2004-2015 as a judge of the court No. 2 of Ust-Kamenogorsk. From 2015 to the present-judge of the East Kazakhstan regional court.

EKSU took 1st place in the IARA-2020 rating for training computer science teachers

Among 95 universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, S. Amanzholov EKSU took the 5th place in the Ares-2020 international rating.

International rankings evaluate the quality of education, research, and demand for graduates.

Processing in ARES is automated, with the exception of the human factor, and European higher education standards are adopted as evaluation criteria, which have been discussed in detail at forums and conferences and approved by the BFUG Bologna coordinating group and the European higher education Ministerial conference.
